Hello Readers and happy New Years!! It has been a hectic, wild, and interesting year full of ups and downs. So every year I and many other people make New Years resolutions without actually doing anything to achieve them. So this year, I decided to do something different. I decided to make steps and also provide tips on achieving each and all of my New Years resolutions.
This year I made a lot of New Year Resolutions personally, academically, and professionally. Some of these include:
1. Being Happier both mentally and physically
2. Advocating more for human rights (this applies to me both professionally and personally )
3. Interacting more with others to improve my people skills (again this applies to both my professional and personal lives)
4. Some traveling to learn more about other cultures
I realized that in order to achieve my goals for this year, I must have a clear and healthy mind (Because I can’t just go around advocating for example when everything upstairs isn’t good). Then for each of my Resolutions, I must make an effort to achieve them by finding out more about the things I want to do. For example if I want to advocate more for children’s rights, I do some research to be more specific and so I don’t sound like a complete idiot when I’m speaking on the issue. And then I look for organizations where I can help out in regards to children’s rights. One resolution down. (Note: Advocacy is not just limited to speak out on an issue.)
I hope my tips were helpful or will help in you achieving your resolutions. Once again Happy New Year and see you next Friday.
Happy New Year to you too.
