Hello dears! Before I begin, I would like to wish everyone celebrating thanksgiving a happy thanksgiving and a happy long weekend (for all us college students). Also you may be wondering, "why on earth is she posting so early?" Well the thing is, tomorrow is Black Friday and I will be busy all day running up and down the mall while trying to to get the best deals on clothes. Anyways that being said, lets get started.
Every year since I was a child, I've spent most of my thanksgivings eating turkey and spending time with my family. But then I moved to Ghana and thanksgiving became just another regular day of the year. When I returned to New York, we didn't really have the turkey on thanksgiving but we still had family gatherings where we played games of Ludo (a Ghanaian game) late into the night. This thanksgiving took an unexpected turn. I had visitors. Why am I making mention of this? Well, I don't really get them and as a lover of people, this made me very happy. So we went to another friends house where we bonded over food and movies. In a society where friendships are established and maintained over 'add me', 'tagging' and 'sharing', this actually was a good experience. Thank you Z and U for making my first thanksgiving with friends a great one.
I would love to hear how you spent your thanksgiving (for those who celebrate thanksgiving). For those who don't celebrate thanksgiving, I would love to hear how you spent your day in the comment section below. Once again happy thanksgiving (and don't max out your card on Black Friday *wink*).

😄😄 happy to know you had a wonderful thanksgiving!!. Nice sharing your experience. Lol and dnt forget to heed to your own advice on black Friday.
