Happy new week! So as a thank you for being such supportive people of my blog, I decided to upload new blogs all week long. Black Friday is coming up and we all know what that means. New clothes, new gadgets, new everything! (well basically because prices are more affordable its too good to be true). However sometimes we tend to get overwhelmed by the fantastic deals and end up spending more than we have. This blog is to give you tips on how not to go bankrupt this Black Friday.

Black Friday is one of the days I have looked forward to ever since I moved back to New York. Every year everyone I know looks forward to the no-school long weekend, the waking up late schedule and having free time (that really isn't free time because of the numerous term papers we all have to write). In 2016 I spent my Black Friday shopping with my mother. Last year, I spent it with my sisters friends. This year, I plan on spending it with my cousin. Anyways so after going overboard and splurging my account to oblivion in 2016, I learnt my lesson and decided to budget last year. It worked, but to a certain effect (in my defence everything was so damn tempting). However, I still swear by my budget rule whenever I talk to people about Black Friday spending. I know we all get tempted by the many tempting deals but heres how not to get sucked into the whirlpool of over-expenditure.

1. Buy clothes that you know you won't get tired of the next season and throw away.

2. Buy clothes you know are trendy but won't go out of style.

3. When it comes to gadgets, don't limit yourself to just one place. You just might find a better deal elsewhere.

4. Keep a clear head. Don't go ''oh ah-ing' at everything you see. You'll go broke before you can say jack.

5. This should've even been rule number one. Stick to the budget boo.

If you stick to these tips, you're good to go. You won't have to worry about going broke and you'll have the things you want. A win-win situation.

I would love to hear your opinions on how you budget for Black Friday in the comment section below.
