Heyyyyyyy!!!! Yes it is me and not my ghost hehe. I know I know... one minute I posted about how this summer was going to be fantastic and how I had a lot of plans in store for you guys and the next minute boom! I was gone just like that. I apologise for that though. So a lot has happened lately with me being busy and all which has only gotten worse now that school has started. Anywayyyssssss..... lets get todays show (or blog post) on the road!
So Welcome back to this semester (my current college students) and welcome to the crazy life of college students (to the freshmen). Todays blog post is a hybrid of "How to Survive College Life" and "Things I Wish I Knew When I Started College". Yeah peeps I got some regrets about college life. But thank goodness cause a girl is graduating next year! Yup. One. More. Semester. And then its hasta la vista babies! okay back to the topic Kaya.
Guide number 1: Procastination
Procrastination as they say is the thief of time. I cannot stress this enough. Stop. Procrastinating! The fact that Professor Smith from English 101 says the paper is due in December does not mean relax. Take little notes. Write drafts. Email them to your professor. And for the love of God do not wait until the last minute to write your papers (Shoutout to my a night prior to the paper is due writers) or study for an exam.
Guide number 2: Go to Office Hours
Yes people. Go to the office. Make conversation. Ask questions. Those will help you build a good relationship with your professor and get you points at the end of the semester. I don't care if you're tired. Goooo.
Guide number 3: College life is Not All Partying.
Repeat after me. College life is not partying. Yeah its good to party once in a while and relieve some stress but don't do this all the time. Do not become the party animal of campus. You do this and your grade will go from an A to a D so fast your head will spin. Why? Because there is no way you can manage a wild party life and academic life at the same time. You can try but it won't work.
Guide number 4: Get the numbers of your classmates
Yes. Get them numbers. And I don't mean the people always on their phone in class or always talking, I mean the ones who pay attention. They alway come in handy when you don't understand a topic or were not in class a certain day.
Guide number 5: Relax
Chillax. Not slack. If the stress gets too much for you just put the books aside for a few hours and do something that calms you down. Remember school is important but your health and sanity is more important.
And thats pretty much it. I hope these guides are a help to you. See you next week and don't forget toile, subscribe and comment!
